My bespoke BUTTONholes (Hint hint!) arrived, yay!! *FLASH!!*

BumbleBrat, 22 October, 2010 at 18:44 Posted on Planning 0 10

A bit premature maybe, considering I have over 13 months until the wedding, but I already have the bridesmaids bouquets plus my button bouquet is a work in prgoress so got started on the Groomsmen's buttonholes! Of course, being me, I wasn't going to just have regular flowers.. So I started thinking about what I wanted and stumbled across a Cutton Jewelery lady who took on the challenge! I had the design in my head so described it to her and she got to work. Of course, I had to include my beloved buttons and decided on the layered Herringbone fabric 'leaves' to keep it looking masculine enough for the boys; Groom, 2 x Ushers, Father of the Groom, Father of the Bride, Best Man and Step Dad of the Bride.

Here they are!

Hehe! I guess you can add buttons in anywhere though really. My theme is a bit mismatched.. I love all things shabby chic, vintage, village fete-ish and thought I'd throw in buttons too lol.
