My button bouquet - flash

Sprollie, 2 September, 2013 at 19:41 Posted on Planning 0 15

Sorry if this all turns out wrong, I haven't posted pics before! I am so happy to have finished my bouquet, I am not a crafty person but wanted to give it a go, I really thought it would all go wrong at some point though! It means a lot to me, most of the buttons were given to me by friends or family, some have personal reasons attached and my something blue is in there too! The pics are from all stages of me making it, I just need to use a glue gun to finish the bottom of the handle.

You're welcome, I couldn't figure out how to get a nice dome shape then had a light bulb moment ?. It also means less wire so lighter. For anyone else it's here https://www.3djewellery.co.uk/instructions-on-how-to-make-a-button-bouquet.html

Just wanted to add that this forum is ruining my bank balance. After seeing your post I had to go and buy some sparkley brooches/buttons - Im not even making a button bouquet so they will be going towards about project.

That's lovely! And what a good idea using the sieve. Can I just ask though how do you remove the handle of the sieve?
