They're amazing! So beautiful. Well done you! Where did you get all teh cups from? We are having cups too (but not with candles like that - although we are putting tealights in them for the evening) but need to buy more.

I have been going to car boot sales and charity shops for ages now, I have an ever growing collection of tea pots, milk jugs etc etc as well. It i s a nightmare as I never find loads all in one place so is taking ages to get enough. I also have a collection of people on teacup sourcing duty.

Mine have been from Charity shops and car boot sales too. This evening I found a seller on ebay about 10 miles from me who has tons of sets for sale so I'm now watching a load ready to bid.

I'm trying not to spend more than £1 per cup and saucer but don't mind spending a little more if I can pick loads up in one place iyswim. I think I have 35 so far (Plus lots of extra side plates, cake plates and jugs/bowls) and need between 100-150! ?

I know, I think I am wearing a groove in the pavement between each charity shop on my local high street ha ha! I suppose it is good exercise though.

I'll have a look for local sellers on Ebay, I didn't think to look there because of postage costs, but if I could pick them up it would be perfect, thanks BB.

Kristal - yeah they are slightly sparkly ontop, I used crystalising wax instead of normal for no other reason than it was cheaper where i was buying it from!! Although I love the look no one else will really notice as they will be alight when most people see them

Narie - Wedding stuff is so much nicer than school work. This is the last time i will have a decent amount of time to do wedding things as well so am making the most of it!

Grace - Thanks hun and I bloody well hope so as if not I have lost a lot of my life for nothing!! lol

They're amazing, they must have taken you aaages to make? I'm another tea cup bride, so thankyou for the ebay idea... I'm going to use my tea cups as wedding favours, along with knitted cupcakes for place settings.

Hooray for tea cup weddings Smiley laugh xx

If Im honest they really didnt take that long. I would say make sure you get the ready done wicks and the putty to stick them to the bottom, but once you start melting and pouring wasnt that bad.

£5 I saw one in a shop that was £15 there was a rather loud and unquotable word that escaped from my mouth when i saw that. I was just about to say i guess i could sell them after the wedding!! LOL then remember they would all have burnt down - ha ha I amaze myself sometimes.

I know the feeling Bridebrat I have given in and got a new shelving unit and thrown clothes away to make room and stil got month of collecting to go.

Blimey, £15!! I've set myself a limit of absolutely no more than £1.50 per cup and saucer now, really impressed with the 39 I bought today from one place so didn't cost much petrol to get there (10 miles away with no trudging round shops/carboot) for £35!! You could always scrape out a hole in the burnt down candles to add a new wick, and refill with more wax then sell to re-coop costs.

All of my tea cups will be going on ebay after the wedding, couldn't believe it a while back when I saw someone selling their set from their wedding on there (Approx the same as I will have by the end) and getting over £400!!

I am seriously thinking about filling mine up again and then selling them on ebay. That or do a job lot after the wedding. Will have to see how long you all have till yours and then sell them on. OMG we could have the Hitched teacups that get passed from one bride to the next ?
