    Thanks so much everybody

3d jewellery yeah I made the flowers. The ivory roses are made from coffee filters and the pink flowers are a tutorial I found on you tube. All the flowers for the wedding are paper so had a bit of a job on my hands! Loved doing them all though

Someone else mentioned about rain yesterday. I'd never even thought about it but I suppose if it rains we'll be inside anyway. But will still keep my fingers crossed for sunshine!

    They look gorgeous!

I'm making paper roses for the table settings, and this has gotten me thinking.....

What did you use for stem, and how did you attach them? I've been using this tutorial, but I'd have to amend the bottom to attach a stem: https://www.buzzfeed.com/adamellis/make-these-lovely-paper-roses-instead-of-buying-flowers-for

Thanks so much everyone your comments have made my day!

The pink ones are made using the same technique as this I just didnt cut the hole out the middle and used a pearl pin to join all the bits together. I then hot glued the pin to a stubby floristry wire and wrapped floristry tape around both the pin and wire to secure it. Also instead of leaving the bottom petals whole I cut a slit between two petals and then glued it back together with two petals overlapping to shape the bottom of the flower a bit more
