I ordered my Mark Lesley dress yesterday, I saw Eve in a magazine and really hoped it would look as good on as I imagined. tried it on and fell in love with the dress instantly. The next 5 months are going to drag.........as soon as it comes in I'm going straight down to try it on. Dress in shop was 2 sizes too big so it'll be great to to try my dress on.

Is Eve the Evelyn, with flowers? Its beautiful.

The Eve is one of the Mark Lesley Couture dresses, towards the bottom of the drop down menu in that section.

It's not the easiest of websites to look at lots of dresses!

I can see why it's popular, it's gorgeous.

I was a mark lesley bride and my sister wore one of his bridesmaid dresses as well. I had style 3021 and the pic doent do it justice, the detail was beautiful and sparkly. given me an excuse to go through the photos while feeling poorly so thats made me feel better! tried topost some pics but hitched isnt letting me.

I'm Mark Lesley Eve, I'm not wearing a hoop underneath.

Mine came in last week and been to try it on, i love it!

Its strange because it is the complete opposite to what i had my heart set on......i wanted a lacy, vintage, Pronovias style but they just didn't suit me.

Can't wait to wear it for real! x

Keep your eyes peeled on preloved "Such".. there are bargains to be had there - sign up to their alerts and you'll see when someone puts a particular designer dress on for sale. I've now opted for a lovely bridesmaid dress in dark ivory by Maggie Sottero (looks like a wedding dress to me and I certainly wouldnt want any of my bridesmaids to wear it ... if I had any that is!) ... its really nice and saved a fortune!!!

I'm a Mark Lesley - style 2115. I ordered it last August and it came in in October - haven't tried it on since then and am having some dress wobbles. Hoping they go away once I start having proper fittings.

I was due to get married last October but due to family issues we postponed the wedding to this coming March. My dress was a little too big when I tried it on last year and they said I could easily gain a stone without any worries.

I have gained weight over Christmas and have been exercising and back on plan with Weight Watchers to shift the 12lbs I gained! Now down to the last 7lbs and although I think it will probably fit like a glove I am so obsessed by the fitting on 11th February that I have been driving my OH crazy with my worrying about the dress not fitting me.

So, I know how you feel. Why don't you ask to go in and try the dress on now it has arrived, maybe that will calm your nerves a little. Your dress is beautiful by the way :-)

I have also ordered a Mark Lesley dress...I'm slightly concerned that it will be too small though! When she took my measurements I thought hmm that doesn't sound right, she was two inches too small round my waist and my dress is a zip and button back so no flexibility like with a corset back eek. She said according to the mark Lesley size chart I am an 8 but I know with 'proper' dresses I am usually a 10 else they won't do up at the top. I just want to be able to eat, drink and breathe during the day lol.

What dress have you ordered?

Mine is a zip and button back as well which is why I am stressing about it fitting me.

I have tried to google Mark Lesley Bridal size chart but haven't had much luck. Perhaps we should try to e-mail them direct for a size chart?

I can't remember the number of it...maybe 2117??? I'm having it changed slightly so that the bottom off the corset is cut off because i don't like the detail on it. I just hope it won't look odd if i do that, the ladies inthe shop didn't seem to think it would be a problem.

See according to that chart I'm all over the place..8-10boobs, 10 waist and back down to 8 for hips...maybe this means I should stop eating so much chocolate lol. Thanks for finding that...which dress have you gone for?

I have e-mailed Mark Lesley as well just for confirmation! When I tried it on last year it was too big for me but I have gained a few pounds over Christmas and so worried it won't fit. Although looking at the table I found on the net it will fit like a glove :-)

Hopefully they will come back to me......
