Hi,

This is my first flash!! Here is my engagment ring!! I am very proud of it We chose it together. It's 18ct white gold, two diamonds with a pink sapphire in the middle. Pink's my fave colour and sapphire is our birthstone (we're born one day apart). In Welsh tradition it's lucky to have your birth stone in your engagement ring!!

That is very similar to what I nearly went for until I decided to be traditional & have a diamond soliataire! When I get my eternity ring I'm going to have pink saphires & diamonds - gorgeous!

Aw thank you ladies!! I absolutely love it. If anyone is interested in maybe getting one themselves we actually got it from very.co.uk. I know it seems a bit weird to have bought it from a catalogue lol but I really fell in love with it!!

I chose mine but wanted to have it in yellow gold, had this mad idea that ER's should be yellow gold. I chose the stones and then left it up to OH to get it made, left it to him to tell the jeweller which one i liked. Then when OH proposed and gave me the ring i was excited but when i saw it i was disappointed with it, it wasnt the same at all, it was much thinner and much smaller than what i wanted (smaller as in the band and the setting) I never told him for months but eventually i did tell him, i felt awful and he was rightly narked with me when i said i think i want to change it, because he was so upset i said i would keep it, but after showing him the original ring in the jewellers he could see what i meant and said i could change it. So we spoke to the jeweller together and between us we designed this one.

The day we went to pick it up i was so scared, and when i entered the shop i held my breath till i saw it, and then it took my breath away i totally totally love it, i cant stop grinning when i look at it even now 2months later lol
