Hi everyone,

I've just joined My fitness pal and am aiming to lose around a stone and a half for my wedding in October. I thought it would be really supportive and motivating if we added each other!

    Ive started using my fitness pal too. Didnt know you could add people but would like to if thats ok. I have alot to lose. My aim is 3 stone before I go dress shopping. We get married next July (2015) x

    Feel free to add me! We obviously have quite a bit to lose between us, we might as well go through the journey together! It is hard enough to lose any weight, and even harder when you are on your own.

    I can get mine to add anyone either! It will only let me add Facebook friends. My username is sassy86uk. I haven't logged in for aaaaages but this might just spur me on. I'm also thinking of joining slimming world as a friend of mine has lost over 2 stone doing it.

    Hi,

    I'm on MFP too. My aim is to loose 4stone by my Wedding Sept 2015. at the moment I'm making small goals for myself so am aiming to loose 2lbs a week. I REALLY need motivation and support though.

    Do you all go to the gym? I do 4 classes a week btu I jsut can't stop eating!!! I love food far too much!!

    Thanks for the add Miss Pickle - when I figure out how to work it I will add the rest of you :/

    OH and I are off out for a meal tonight with his friends to ZaZa Bazaar which is an all you can eat! Uh oh! They have also just completed a massive deadline on their uni course so I'm sure there will be a lot of alcohol there too.

    I'll just have to run around tomorrow! I did some Blogilates on Monday and my abs were tender for 2 days after, so it must have done some good. I'm gonna try and keep it up. does anyone else do pilates at all? Class or blogger based?

    I really enjoy it because it's easy to do in a small space, can be done in short bursts and is all about strength and toning. It also initially appealed as I thought it looked relaxing and not too strenuous - I was wrong! It's made me realise how poor my balance has become. How did your class go?

    Finally figured out how to add people on MFP! Friend requests sent ? I stood on the scales today to discover I'm the heaviest I've ever been in my life.

    It won't let me add anyone that's not on fb either, but if you can, add me Fat_Bride93. And don't say anything about the derogatory username. I want to lose 6 STONE before my wedding (about 3 years) The time for being nice to myself and saying, oh, I'm a bit chubby but at least I'm still pretty, is OVER. I've already lost 3lbs in my first week Smiley smile It's really working. I think MyFitnessPal helps a LOT, telling you exactly how much of each different nutrient etc you're having during a day...I didn't even realize how many carbs I was consuming.

    Hi All,

    I have the MFP app but not used it in a long time....need to start to use it again! I'm looking to lose around 2.5 to 3 stone, i have until July next year to lose it. Joined the gym on my lonesome so i had no excuses. My OH works abroad but is home at the minute, so we seem to be eating crap food all the time, plus i have only been going to the gym once a week and swimming once a week...... Need my motivation back and hoping you ladies can help Smiley smile

    I've been on it for a while, I'm mustardmitt (unsurprisingly!)

    I'm not using it as a weightloss tool, more of a health and fitness tracker. I never weigh myself so I'll never lose any weight on it, but I try to stick to a calorie limit and exercise 7 days a week (even if just a walk at lunchtime).
