My Mum...

MrsRegantobe, 23 October, 2010 at 19:30 Posted on Planning 0 3

Has just left after having dinner with me as H2B is on stag tonight (Watch out Bristol LOL) and after dinner it starts to rain and I'm telling her I hope it doesn't rain on my day, and she replied that it did on hers, and she shouldn't have brought the date forward three months. ??

Turns out my mother was due to get Married in her local church, have a rolls take her and have a very lavish reception.

Now I seen my mothers wedding photos and she got married in a registry office her car was her dads mini and her reception was in a local hall. I asked her what happened?(although that sounds perfect to me ?)

I'm sure they may have a been abit more too it than this but...are you ready for this?

She went to a market with her friend and brought a few bits home, when she got home she asked her mum (my nan) if it could go in the loft, my nan said no.

They argued and my mother canceled her whole wedding that her and my nan had planned together and did it her self and for three month sooner so she could move in with my dad!

I could not stop laughing! I asked if she minded if I told all you lovelys and she said go ahead, she's glad she did it.

I'm not sure why I find it so funny! I thought I Knew all there was about my mum! guess not.

Wow that is really cool lol! It does amaze me that you can be so close to someone & there still be things you don't know & didn't expect them to have done!
