I am actually a big flower fan but I do like your bouquet too. No definitely not tacky, though not sure about it at any other time of the year apart from xmas. You must be very creative, well done.

I'm going against the grain and saying that i don't like it.

I'm not a flower fan so had a crystal bouquet so i'm all for having something thats not the norm.

I just think the christmas baubles will always look like christmas baubles and i think that although its querky, I think a lot of your guests will be wondering what you were thinking of.

sorry if its not what you wanted to hear

(i think this is my first dislike on hitched!)

Well im all for feedback, thats why i posted it so no need to apologise but there is a way of getting your opinion across without being, if unwittingly, mean. Being your first dislike on here? Makes me feel great, thanks! And as for my guests wondering what i was thinking? Im not sure you have any place to make that comment. Im having a christmas wedding with a christmas theme and everyone who knows me knows im a christmas nut and are expecting a 'different' wedding anyway! Thankyou for your opinion though Smiley smile

when i say its my first dislike post on hitched, i meant exactly that, i've never posted before that i dislike something, it doesnt mean that your bouquet is the first time i've seen something on hitched that i've not liked.

I had a burgundy dress so i was fully aware that at my wedding, some of my guests wont have liked it as it wasnt the norm and its exactly what i mean about your bouquet.

please don't ask for opinions if you are going to feel crap about the answer. I think you could go for something a lot nicer like twisted twigs or something but i think christmas baubles will just look cheap.

I don't mean to offend you, i posted some ideas for my wedding and looking back on them now, i'm glad some hitchers had the balls to tell me that they werent that fussed on them.

I think it's nice to do something different, I absolutely fell in love with this brides bauble bouquet, but I think it's because the colours work excellently!

I like it but I would say one thing & that is to try & use baubles without the seam through the middle. It spoils the appearance.

It looks quirky though and as you say your guests will be expecting it from you!

    Hi,

I'm not really that keen on fussy designs so it's not my taste but well done on being so creative.

I have to admit I' not too keen, as I'm a bit of a fuddy duddy and prefer a more traditional bouquet of fresh flowers. However, I think it is very unique and a great way to show both your individuality and creativity.

i do agree with a previous comment tho about positioning the baubles so that the line on them is hidden.

I wish I was having a christmas wedding now!

I thought about a twig arrangement or something similar but i didnt like the idea that they looked dead! Might sound stupid lol

The red ones just a practice, I could only find the cheap nasty red ones this time of year!!, i was planning on doing it in baby pink with some posh (!) baubles and more sparkle. I thought about a mini christmas tree type thing but oh said no way lol

What does everyone think of poinsettias in pink?? I think theyd be the only flower id have.

I like flouncy crystal bouquets too and was thinking of having one of those and making the bauble thingys for the bms. I change my mind like the weather Smiley smile

Has anyone else done anything different? Ive not really been on here long so havent seen much of everyone elses stuff!!

Thanks for all your comments, good and bad Smiley winking

    Hi,

Sorry just catching back up on here. Rather than using baubles how about pine cones sprayed in silver or pink (if you can get pink spray) and holly or something else christmassy. I've found this picture which I think it lovely and more classy than baubles (don't hate me for saying that please).

    Wow, I love that!

I think it's great you're making your own bouquet. I also like the ideas on here of pine cones and the like, makes it look Christmassy but in a more subtle way. I'm looking forward to having a nosey at more of your practice bouquets!
