Hello, hello. I am fairly new to Hitched and while I have commented on various threads, I haven't really introduced myself. I thought it about time!!
My fiancé and I are getting married 7th Sept 2013 which happens to be the day after our little boys first birthday!!
we got engaged after he proposed to me in Darling Harbour, Sydney on Valentines Day 2012. There was a firework display after we left the restaurant we were in and he did it there, in front of lots of people (he tries to tell everyone he organised the display but it was a big coincidence!!)
Unfortunately just after we came back from our holiday, his mum was diagnosed with cancer and we lost her a few short weeks later so weddings were the last thing on our minds!! Our little boy was then born in September and we decided to make it all official and set a date for next Sept.
I have the dress, given notice and paid deposits on most everything else. I have still however, not finalised a colour scheme. It is possibly pink, chocolate brown and creams/neutrals (thanks fellow hitchers for suggesting throwing the neutrals in!)
Something tells me these next 8 months will fly by!
