Tis weird. Having inherited my mothers name as my surname, it doesnt feel that much of a jump. Yet, the name doesnt feel like mine. The kids at school - when they remember - call me it, and the staff and i still think 'are they talking to me?' When hubby says it, it doesnt feel like its my name and its too weird seeing it in print..... will i get used to it? Marrieds, how are you coping?? lolol.... I think deep down i'll always think of myself as my maiden name. LOLOL.

This has been stressing me for ages- originally I was going to keep my maiden name and be Ms Single, then I decided I quite liked the idea of being a 'Mrs' - which shocked me! I'll be OH's second wife and really couldn't face being 'the second Mrs Married' - even though their are probably millions as it's not that unusual of a name!!! So I have almost settled on Mrs Single-Married, which is fine but then we won't be Mr and Mrs Married....all very confusing. Plus I have a sports shirt with SINGLE on it and it feels odd to think that soon I won't be 'me' anymore. I will be adding an extra middle name when I do my deed poll so that's a positive for me too. All very weird.
