Hi There Newbie. I'm getting married 26th May this year and plan on sending them out in the next 2 weeks, I pondered over whether this was to early but I know people will want to book up rooms for the night, some have kids etc. Congratulations on your coming wedding

NOW!! LOL we get married on 31st march and we sent ours out in novemeber and have only had 40 of the 120 replies back!!! lol

I would probably say February will give ample time for replies. Work back from when your venue needs to know numbers. Give yourself 3-4 weeks to chase replies and give 4-6 weeks for people to reply. If you have people who have to travel and arrange accommodation then you may want to send them out sooner.

I'm sending mine out during Feb, with an rsvp of may, so they have 3 months to reply, and I have a month after that to chase up for final numbers for the venue the month before. Hope that helps.

I think most places recommend 6-8 weeks before the wedding but I know most people would send the before that, i'm going to send mine about 12 weeks before!

Have a google for 'wedding flats' and you can have a good hunt through, BHS do some nice ones!

Hi I think the tradition id to send them out 13 weeks before the wedding. In relation to the shoes, there are quite a few flat bridal shoes on the high street at the moment, especially in debenhams. Or you could wear some strappy sandals if your dress suits them?
