My wedding planning so far............

Hey Guys,

I have been looking around the site for a couple of weeks now and decided in introduce myself. I am Liz got engaged on Xmas Day 2012. HTB waiting until we had unwrapped all the gifts then shocked me and asked me to be his wife. (only taken 6 years)

I have picked a date 15th Feb 2014 at Oulton Hall (De vere) Leeds. Having a winter wonderland wedding theme.

I also have a large family and circle of friends so were number crunching at the min but were looking at 120 to the day with no Children apart from close family and 200 plus for night time do!

So any helpful advice regarding winter wonderland weddings will be greatly appreciated.

We are also having a civil wedding at the hotel, im having Canon in D to walk down the isle to and im having 2 wedding cakes 1 made of cheese and 1 sweet one.

    Hello and welcome. Your venue is stunning and I love your theme!

    One of my couples had that theme and their tables were name after the Reindeers. Was amazing to see the White branches etc on the tables. I'll have to show you the link.

    I really love the winter theme but want to avoid Xmas.... I like a red theme as its the day before valentine day. But were still sorting colors schemes ect.

    Im over the top................ Walking down the isle on a bed of white rose petals. I want ice sculpture, fireworks and a good variety of entertainment IE :Band's singers, Magicians and a string quartet. Thats before the fireworks and sweet buffet.

    Jeeeeeeeesssssss don't think will be able to have it all but i can still dream hehe!!!
