Hi All,
Haven't been on for a while as life went a bit manic but guessed you wouldn't mind me doing a qucik wedding report with a few pictures!
So...
Friday- Mum and Dad arrived. Mum went a bit nuts as we hadn't finished the orders of service so she organised us all to do them. Dad sat and read the paper!
Saturday- Went to pick up my dress (the wedding was on Tuesday). Mum cried when she saw me in it which was fab!!! Then got Chris' suit and stopped off at Millies cookies. When I got home my sister, her husband and my cousin arrived. My Sister and her husband then took over the dining room for a string quartet rehearsal as they were playing as I walked down the aisle (obviously two other friends were there too...).
My cousin and I then went off to but the flowers for the table centres and potted them up...
Not flashy but they looked ok...!
Sunday- Spent most of the day at Church (was Easter Day) so no wedding stuff got done!
Monday- Had a rehearsal at the church first thing. Couldn't stand still and Dad (who was conducting the ceremony as he's a vicar) kept telling me off! Mum and I then spent 2 hours hair drying my dress on a low setting to get the creases out as recommended by the lady at the dress shop!!!
We all went to the reception venue where we were staying the night (us and twenty two other family and friends!!!)
Chilled out with everyone and ate fish and chips. Got to bed late as I was chatting too much.
Tuesday- The wedding day!!!!!!
Left Ridge Farm early and went to the hairdresser with Mum. They were fab and we had the flowers delivered there and I was really pleased with them. Went home and my friend came over to do my make up. it was Fantastic. Then the bridesmaids arrived and the next bit was all a bit of a blur. Lots of people, photos, flowers, dresses etc. Eventually got into the car to go to church... To find that the bus bringing the groom and guests was late!!
Evenutally they arrived and the service got going. It was amazing and I loved every minute of it.
The we had photos and cakes and champers at church.

and had a fab rection with a hog roast and barn dance
