My wedding was on Friday 19th July
Bit of background
Me and Leon have been together for 9 years and 1 month when we got married, meet though friends both from Northampton meet in 2004 in 2005 we both moved away i found job in London, Leon moved to Hertfordshire ... I moved in with him in 2006 in Hertfordshire and we brought our first house in 2008. we got engaged on my birthday 29th December 2011 at Leeds castle in Kent. He made me a picnic, it was freezing but he brought a blanket, it was lovely day. (I'd waited a long time!)
Planning the big day
I decided to have a grey and yellow theme, I'd see it on pintrest and loved it, It worked so well I'm really pleased and we fell in love with the venue fanhams hall hotel in Ware, Hertfordshire when we went to visit!
I started preparations a few days before the wedding I volunteered at a primary school and finished on the Tuesday, I made all the children wedding biscuits 
Wednesday 17th July
We had to go to pick up the birdcages for the centre pieces, it was at a farm in the middle of no where we thought we had made a mistake but we got them then we had to drive them to the flower shop, on way we thought we would drop off at Leon's sisters to say hello, good job we did as they explained we had to buy a iphone 5 adapter that would go in docking station for the music to the ceremony, so we went round a loads of shops looking for one, found one in Argos ?
Thursday 18th July
we got up early the day before the wedding day as we had to drive to London to pick up macaroons that were wedding favors, i was worried we would get lost but we didnt ? when we got home Leon's best man was getting a train to ours to help with putting the macaroons into the boxes we made, my parents came around the same time with my nan and brother and we were all helping out the macaroons in the boxes even my dad ?
Around 4pm we had to go venue to drop off the stuff for the wedding and i needed to pick my dress up from my friends house, who was looking after it and take it to venue. The car was piled high, my brother was holding my dress and mum jumped in front, then Leon decided he wasn't coming so I drove my mum and brother, Luke to venue. We got there and seen my cousin with her partner and little girl who was one of my bridesmaid, it hadn't sunk in yet that i was getting married the next day! At about 7pm I was wondering why Leon hadn't got there yet, I rang him and he told me he was busy but would hurry, the plan was we was going to have a meal with family and friends that had stayed over the night before, it started at 8pm so I getting a bit worried my dad, nan and Leon wasn't at venue!
They got there at 7.40pm so cutting a bit fine, i found out that Leon was writing his speech!
The meal was really lovely, my parents, brother (who was a usher) and nan , Leon's mum and dad and 2 brothers and sister with partners and my 4 bridesmaids and Leon's usher best man and uni friend were there. the food was lovely and we arranged to have board games around room with Wii so was fun playing Wii bowling, it was really relaxed night, perfect
at around 11.30 I went up to my room as I was staying at venue, with 2 of my bridesmaids Leon was going home as the venue was only about 25 mins away and staying with his best man and his usher, the rest of family was staying at venue.
Me and my bridesmaids chatting and watched TV till about 1am , really hadn't sunk in still!
Day of wedding!!
I woke up at 6.10am i remeber looking at time! I took few pics of view from window
My bridesmaids woke up at around 7am and we ordered breakfast , I brought bottle of bucks fizz as I love it! and also wanted to drink it the morning of my wedding day. Breakfast came and it was lovely!
My hairdresser came at 10am and started doing my bridesmaids hair, at 10am my mum rings me panicking asking if i have any tablets my nan is in pain after falling over few days before and she needs pain killers, one of my bridesmaid takes the phone to deal with it and says I cant answer phone anymore as its stress I don't need!
At 10.30 the photographers get to my room, I'm super nervous at this point and its beginning to sink in, I'm very nervous having my pic taken so I get all worried.
The wedding is at 1.30pm so we have a little while, I get my hair done and I just want to put my dress on, the day was super hot so everyone said it was best to leave to last min, after about 12 the time goes so quick and its a bit of a blur, i go into the bridal suite to put dress on and my chief bridesmaid helps me
At 1.25pm I have to walk to ceremony room, I start shaking, my dad helps me down the stairs, as my bridesmaid are walking out into room it really hits me that im getting married, my chief bridesmaid who goes last looks at me and says breath really loudly , my dad can see I'm nervous and starts telling me to breath also ! My bridesmaids walked down the isle to kissing you the romeo and Juliet instrumental piece and I walked down to the balcony scene from romeo and Juliet always wanted to since about 15 years old!
The ceremony was a bit of blur... I remember shaking throughout and smiling lots and just so happy to see everyone very overwhelming!
I cried a bit when my mum read her reading, when we was married we walked out into the gardens for our drinks reception, we had planned for afternoon tea style canapes which went down so well with the pimm's and the amazing weather!
The wedding breakfast was really good, everyone loved the food and we made little bags for the children, which had a quiz book in that we had made, which personal crossword which we thought was so cute!
In the evening we had a hog roast which was lovely, we had a rock covers band (Leech) who played our first dance, an acoustic version of 'everlong' by the Foo Fighters , I loved our first dance the band were amazing one of the highlights, even though i loved all of my day and everything was a highlight!
The whole day was amazing!!!! I couldn't have asked for a better day! It was so sunny and i was very hot in my dress, but I loved the sun, the next day we went down for breakfast and it was really lovely to see lots of our guest and for lunch we went to pub in Ware with leon uni friends, who came back to our house and we had tea and wedding cake it was such a lovely end to amazing few days!
On 23rd July we went on an amazing 2 week honeymoon to Las Vegas, San Francisco and Hawaii!
After all the planning and excitement its so strange now its all so quiet! Even thou I am loving married life ?
