My weddings off

Havent been on here for a while, been all over the place the last month or so.

To cut a long story short I am no longer getting married next August and am no longer engaged. Rumours went around that I was cheating on my other half - why I would wait 6 months while he was in the middle of the sea and decide to cheat when he gets home is beyond me. His family then decided to spread I was only with him for his money.

After spending time together just as friends the other half asked me again yesturday to be 'his girlfriend'. We have been getting on amazingly well and just think we got stuck in a rut. Just finding it all a bit over whelming that we have taken what feels like a million steps back.

Ive only just thought about selling the few wedding bits I have bought. Havent called about my dress or the church or anything yet. Guess Im just putting it off because once I make the call it really is official ☹️

So Im going to have a few bits up on the for sale forum if anyone is interested.

Sorry to hear that Emma. I've seen a few of your posts on here before, remembered you cos my h2b is in the navy too. I'm sure you've got loads of friends who'll be helping you out just now when you need them but im here with a listening ear,just drop me a line. Hope everything works out for you

WSS really hun. Glad you are trying to work things out tho. Is there defo no chance of getting things back on track?? it'd be awful to get rid of all your bits, only to wish you hadn't!!

Down the line it may all happen again but deffinatly not any time soon. To be honest I would rather get rid of everything and start again if the time comes up.

If only his family could see what you post you on hitched about him , about you missing him so much , i'm sure they would take back what they said.

Sorry to hear that. It's nice to see that it's not over completely though and that you're still together as boyfriend and girlfriend. In time you may get back to the point that you were at.

Sorry to hear this - glad to hear you are still together though, don't let the gossips beat you. I think you are doing the right thing by getting rid of all you wedding things, then when the time comes again to start planning, you won't have them as reminders of this difficult time.
