Nail issue please help possible TMI

I would think very seriously about getting new shoes- and possibly choosing flip flops or other sandals that will not touch your toe at all. Then possibly have it wrapped so it's covered.

Unless your dress is not floor length, you're going to want to think about comfort- even peep toe shoes will put a lot of pressure on that nail bed! Just thinking about it making me cringe.
