Nailbiters

Do you ever have false nails put on? How do you manage? I can't type. i've scratched my face. I don't know how I'm going to put in my contact lenses?

And I've only had the nails done on one hand. And they aren't even that long.

Will I get used to them?

    Hi July,

I get false nails put on every now and then - especially when I've got somewhere to go etc.

I always get them put on a few days before, which allows me time to adjust to them. I find my biggest problem is worrying they'll break off but if enough glue has been applied then they should be fine.

They are acrylic nails, so won't break off. My sil did them for me, she asked me to let her do one nail, (to see what it would look like) then she had a bit of time before her next appointment arrived, so she was going to do another couple but had enough time to do one hand. She will do the other hand tomorrow.

I just can't type. I suppose they will take a bit of getting used to and not scratching my eyes out when I put my contacts in. ?

She said its a thanks for watching my nephews.
