Nails???

I had pretty long extensions and gel colour. I had them baby pink which isn't a colour I normally wear but it fit with my 60s theme. The extensions felt a bit ridiculous at first but looking back I'm glad I had them, they look very glam in the photos. I cut them to about half the length the next day though!

Mine are normally short and unpolished but I had extensions for the wedding. I think I would go fairly subtle however I have no idea why I'm saying that as i had clear SPARKLE with snowflake stickers! But it was more subtle than it sounds.

I'm planning to have a a French manicure done (white tips) a day or 2 before the wedding

I'm planning to have a gellux French manicure, apparently these last a good two weeks. Maybe if you're not used to having them done, go for something natural so you're not self conscious.

My regular nail salon do amazing nail art so I'm planning to have mine patterned. My usual nail artist keeps asking what I'll be doing and I just say "crazy nails". I really want to incorporate all the colours of my wedding in my nails.

I'm going to do acrylic nails. But decoration, I think, depends on your dress and wedding colours! It can be white, nude, or white with silver or another colour...

My photographer suggested neutral nails - so I went with a shellac french manicure, short and straight. It looked really natural.

I've gone for a Shellac french with a little purple heart on my ring finger. I don't have extensions but was a nail tech for some time and would suggest at least one practice with nail extensions if you're not used to it. They can feel very odd the first time and doing up zips and buttons etc can take a bit of practice.

Bubblerawk are these acrylic or are they your own nails? Xxx

We are December so I am thinking that I might go against the grain of the pale nail and go for something Christmassy, these were my Christmas nails last year and I am thinking the same, or darker as my bridesmaids are in burgundy...

I was thinking of half glitter like this too... not sure if I want to go blue, silver or white though

I am toying with a red to match my lips or a nude colour. I mainly alternate between those two colours on a day to day basis so I don't want to go with something that I wouldn't normally have. Like someone has posted above, if you are unused to doing your nails, I would stick with something fairly neutral, like a French polish. Lilac sounds lovely too.

I think I will be going for a French manicure with a bit of shimmer/sparkle but I won't decide for certain until I get my dress and decide on hair and make up. I think that red nails and red lippy looks lovely and very 1950's so I may go for this depending on the dress I choose! X
