Name change advice for friend

My friend has just got married and her and her H are double-barrelling their surnames. As far as her name change goes, does she just provide a marriage certificate to prove she got married and to change her name at the bank etc? Or if they are double-barrelling is there anything different she needs to do? What about her new H? Does he do the same?

As they are already married, she will need to change her name by deed poll to double barrell and then she can change her name where she needs to. Her husband will also need to complete a deed poll to double barrell his name.

If the man changes his name before marriage via deed poll for double barrelling purposes then the wife will only need the marriage certificate to change.
