Name place cards

From what I've seen when I've photographed them I think it's bride, groom and then either first names for all the guests or full names for them.

I just put ther actual name. The only people I didn't was for myself and OH where I put 'bride' & 'groom'.

Most people write first names on the place cards and full names on the actual seating plan to avoid issues with people who have the same first name!

Whatever you want. We used little stones painted with people's names, so we put people's first names, or nicknames on them. Full names on the table plan. We didn't put "bride" etc on anything.

It really depends on personal taste.

We're using first names for everyone

We did first name surname for everyone, including me and H. It was nice to have my new name on it rather than just "bride"

I was having this dilemma as well as about to start writing mine.

I think we have are having the top table say "bride" "groom" "mother of the bride" "father of the bride" etc..but then for the rest of the tables just putting their first names

We're doing ours like this.

Think we will just put everyone's full name... I like the idea of having my new full name instead of just "bride" .. But is down to you and what you prefer, there's no right and wrong way
