Name Twins?

AussieAngelxxx, 13 October, 2008 at 22:41 Posted on Planning 0 7

Hey all,

It is late and I can't sleep!!!! My back and chest are still really sore! To make matters worse H2B called me today and said he had to go home from work as he has done in his back picking up a really light bottle from the floor!! He had to pull the emergency cord used for the patients for someone to come help him up!! (he works for a nursing agency) So we are both hobbling around and smell very strongly of deep heat!!

Anyway when you change your name when you get married are you going to be getting a name twin that you know of?? I am!

H2B's brother is getting married a couple of months after us to a lovely girl. Now we currently share the same first name....and when we get maried will share the same last name.... Plus we are both blonde and both qualified beauty therapists!!!

Crazy hey? His mum is already in a flap about it lol

Just thought I would share my not so interesting fact!

Anone else not able to sleep?

xxx

I will share my last name with a few of our friends who are no relation, but not the first, my name is quite old (Carole) and I only seem to share my name with ladies in their 50's!

If I am anything to go by you will, been awake since 4.30 this morning, tried like mad to go back off and finally got up at quarter to six, I was the same yesterday - on a weekend too, and here I am still awake printing OOS off!! But couldnt sleep anyway

Anyway Aussie, we have the same in our family, My Nephew married a girl with the same name as my daughter, so they both have the same first and last name, and we cant even use the middle name to avoid confusion as they have the same middle name too - whats the chances hey!!

    Woa masal, thats pretty weird!

I'll have the same surname as my mother... which is a bit weird..... There will be my uncles and aunts and OHs family with the same surname too. Its gonna get a wee bit confusing! And he and I both have a cousin with same names...

My dads partner has the same surname as him and thats her original married name....

Mums from a family of 6 and I am NOT related to my OH!! lol..

I won't gain any name twinnies through my married name, but when one of my closest uni friends married a few years ago, she gained my maiden name as her married name - my surname is very unusual (not like a smith or jones or anything like that) so it makes it even stranger. her H is from australia, so we often wonder whether someone far back in our family tree might have committed a crime and got shipped off to oz... especially as we look quite alike too!

hehe yup I am a beauty therapist working in a bank....don't know how that happened! lol No I am a beauty therapist but I cannot use my qualifications in the UK as do not translate from Oz. Oh well!!

I did do make up training and I do loooooove it!!!!! The best 3 tips I have are....

never ever ever ever ever go for a foundation that is darker then your skin colour cos you think it will make you look like you have a tan....it doesn't! It looks cheap and scary! Bronzer people!

Use bronzer as blusher to really pop the cheekbones (and if you have a double chin like me down your neck - makeing sure it is blended)

and older women (not saying you are one cos you are not!) should avoid any type of sparkle or shimmer in their eyeshadows as it creases and ages....stick to lovely smokes or matts....

    Thats all I got lol

I fell asleep right after I posted this last night lol

H2B was snoring away and just had to cuddle him!
