    Congratulations!

I went to the one at Earls Court in September and hated every second of it ?. I found most of the stalls were novelty/tacky items, it was so crowded you could barely move and it was almost impossible to try dresses on given the amount of people there.
However, I did try one dress on that I liked so made an appointment to go to the shop a few weeks later and try it on again. When I went back I decided I loved the dress and we also managed to find bridesmaid dresses there too. The shop is miles from where I live so I wouldn't have gone there had I not gone to the show.

    Congrats!

When is ur wedding booked for? I think as a newly engaged bride to be u must go and experience the show as it is a lot of fun - especially if u got with ur bm and mom! There are so many stalls (all different) and I came away with so many ideas, leaflets that really helped! I also booked my transport when i was there and it was great to meet them!

    Hope this helps x

    Congratulations

I bougt my wedding dress from the nec, I also got the idea for my cake from a stall there and then asked a local cake maker to do the same.

I got free tickets from hitched and went on a friday, which is a lot quieter.

I only found 2 stalls of any use or interest so it wasn't the most successful trip for me. underwhelming fashion shows, lots of tacky stalls and bridezilla types! ?

i came home with a small rainforest in leaflets which went straight back into our recycling bin.

I went to the wedding show at the NEC with my mum in october and we loved it! There were loads of stalls and stands and there was a real buzz in the air. We picked up loads of ideas and I got mhy headress and we ordered our flowers. It was fab! Go for the experience!!!

First off - congratulations on your engagement!

When my SIL got engaged to my bro, me, her and my mum went and it was really good, she bought loads at bargain prices. The fashion show was a bit boring - nothing that your average girl on the street would wear / could afford anyway!

Now it's my turn and I'm going in March, it's a MUST DO!!!
