Necklace with dress or not???

I was wondering the same for myself, but figured seeing as I'm not at all busty and have a neck any giraffe would aspire to, I'd better crack on and find something. Soooooo I'm going to buy a variety of shapes and styles... Cheapo Primark jobs probably to take along to myfitting. Whichever suits best, I'll then buy something nice in a similar style xx

I won't be wearing a necklace personally, but thats because I *never* wear them.

I prefer bracelets so will wear one of those and my earrings only jewellery wise.

I'm not, but that's only because I have a 'blingy' topped dress and bolero so I thought it would be a bit too much.

If I had gone for a plainer dress then I would have got a nice statement piece.

I have a choker style necklace as I found that the traditional necklaces just swamped me and the neckline of the dress. for some strange reason I haven't got a photo of the choker but the arm cuff is exactly the same;

It took some finding but I'm so pleased with it. I bought a 3 strand pearl necklace but it was way too much, I was all pearls lol

When I got married I had a 2 piece, the top was a top band of crystals and diamantes. I wore a simple sterling silver necklace with a square cubic zirconia. It looked perfect. You could wear a necklace but would need to go for something simple.

I think that all you can do is try some on with your dress and see how you feel. A Y shaped necklace or a pendant is nice with a sweetheart neckline

My dress is quite high necked (is this a term?!) so no necklace for me but I having a look for some nice earrings instead

Thank you both, I bought the choker and then looked around for a matching bracelet...good old bidding place had the matching cuff and I'm one happy lady! I love Butler and Wilson, I have 3 strand pearl necklace and the most amazing ear rings that I'm not going to wear as they're gold tone.........but pretty none the less.
