Need help with colour scheme

HLT, 24 February, 2012 at 10:32 Posted on Planning 0 6

We really can't decide.. OH will be wearing a kilt (Angus tartan) http://www.scotchcorner.com/mill/tartans-a/angus.html and my dress is ivory lace, although I was considering adding a sash or something to make it look a nit more vintage. We were thinking we would dress the bridesmaids in teal, picking from the limited choice within the tartan but I'm not so sure teal would look very vintage. I was wondering if a champagne type colour might work.. Or does anyone else have any suggestions?

I think royal blue would look lovely next to the tartan. Will have to be carfeul with champagne next to your dress

I agree a blue would look good, but I'd actually go for a navy blue as I think the contrast with your dress would work well. IMO teal wouldn't work.

My first choice would be Navy, this teamed up with ivory and lace would add a real vintage flair to your wedding...
