Need help with Jewerley for me and BM's

xxxsnowbunnyxxx, 27 January, 2009 at 16:36 Posted on Planning 0 11

I have been looking at the pictures of the jewerley that I have picked for me and I just don't know if it's right, I have time to get something else so I was just wondering what do you think, to small ? need something with more bling ?

Also, I am yet to get the jewerley for the BM's what do you think would go best with the dresses ?

    Hiya

Wow, your dress is gorgeous. I do know what you mean with regard to a bit of bling though, I kind of agree. What would look lovely is a Swarovski crystal illusion type necklace. I don't do any myself but I know that some of the other girls do.

I can help with your bridesmaids though. For some reason hitched isn't allowing us to upload photos at the minute so I can only point you in the direction of my website but I can do this http://www.kerryblu.co.uk/summer-bridesmaids-pendant-354-p.asp in crystal colouor tanzanite which looks from the picture you've provided would be a good match for your dresses or I can do this in the same colour http://www.kerryblu.co.uk/deborah-necklace---available-in-a-variety-of-crystal-colours-18-p.asp or this http://www.kerryblu.co.uk/mia-crystal-bridesmaids-pendant-362-p.asp.

Let me know if I can be of any further help - my email is *****@********.**.**.

    Hi Snowbunny,

Personally I would have a different necklace which stands out a little bit more but everyone is different and I just love jewellery so always like to have something on which is more noticeable but if you aren't keen on sparkly things what you have will be more in keeping with you.

Your bm dress is the same colour as mine. I'm trying to decide over which jewellery to make for my bm because none of the Swarovski crystals or pearls matches it exactly so I'm possibly going for a necklace with ab and silver crystals which is suitable for all colours.

If you want to discuss anything feel free to drop me an email and I can suggest some different styles and designs - ******@**************.**.** or www.lynseysdesigns.co.uk.

    Hi snowbunny,

Yep I agree too about needing something more substanial to compliment your dress. I also think it needs to be slightly longer too.

On this page http://www.louloubelle.co.uk/necklaces_bridal.html perhaps a 4 strand AB illusion based on the Fiona necklace, or a pendant such as Adele.

For your BMs I'd be tempted not to try and match the lilac colour but instead to stick to ABs and silvers (also they will be able to wear them more often after the wedding).

Perhaps the Vintage Pendant http://www.louloubelle.co.uk/necklaces_bridal.html in silvery grey or white, or a nice combination of AB crystals, diamante rondells and various silver balls. Or you could incorporate a few small white pearls too. I have a necklace called "Sarah" which is a lovely combination of pearls, crystals, silver balls and rondells - its not on the website yet but please let me know if you'd like me to email a photo.

    Hope that helps a little.

I think your jewellery may be a little small for the neckline if you are looking at illusion sets I have a great offer on some at the moment https://www.3djewellery.co.uk/index_files/pearl_bead_illusion_necklace.htm , I also have 2 deep purple and sterling silver necklace sets in my sale and I also have 3 lilac and sterling silver neclaces which are similar but not sliders which aren't on the website. https://www.3djewellery.co.uk/index_files/bridal_party_jewellery_gifts.htm

let me know if I can help

Lovely Dress and BM colour. I think I would go for an 18" necklace for you. Feel free to go have a look on my site as Angeldust, Snowkissed, Fantasy, All the diamonds range, Sparkle or Gazelle would look nice.

As for the BM's I would go for something like Sweethearts so they can waer it again. Alternatively the single stand of diamonds.

    Hi

Gorgeous dress and the bms is a beautiful colour.

I would go slightly more bling but not too much. I wouldn't go for diamante as I think that would be too heavy. Stick with Swarovski crystals which are sparkly but softer on the eye than diamante.

For you I would opt for a 3 strand illusion necklace (J8 or J9) and then tie the BMs in with a single strand illusion necklace (J1 or J10)

Let me know if I can help atall
