Need your ideas please!

Shnarfy1, 25 September, 2010 at 21:42 Posted on Planning 0 16

I need help choosing a best man gift. He doesn't drink or smoke so engraved hipflasks/lighters are out the window. He's kinda geeky and likes computer games, does anyone have any ideas? I'm not looking to spend too much on the gift. TIA Smiley smile

What about a voucher for Game? You don't need to put much on it. I'm sure he'll be grateful for something he can put towards a new game he would like.

What about some retro sweets that you could put in a jar and stick some cellophane around with a bow? If he likes chocolate, Thontons do nice ones that aren't very expensive!

We are getting mest man engraved watch. However, (not knowing much about computer games) I would suggest speaking to like minded people and asking them what they would really like as a gift.

Hiya, may i suggest a best man novelty survival kit which costs £3.99 in an organza bag and £4.99 in a box with tissue paper and you could also perhaps put a GAME voucher inside too.

Please get in touch if you are interested Smiley smile

Thanks minicooper but that would be way out of our budget I'm afraid, really looking for something under about £20. Swithering over the Game voucher but it seems like a bit of a rubbish gift to give him for being our BM Smiley sad Don't know what to do...

You can get cufflinks that are shaped as enter keys off the computer keyboard. They should be more in budget?

I was thinking of cufflinks in the shape of the mushroom from mario but I could only find one set which didn't look very good.

My OH keeps mentioning personalised memory (USB) sticks for his best man and ushers, I don't think they are expensive but we've not looked into yet.
