Needing some help.. :(

Hi Ladies,

Started slimming world in May this year, and have lost 2 and a half stone (pretty much!) I have a lot more to lose but i've sort of given up. Half of me wants to keep fighting it, but the other half as just had enough. Anything I can do to get me back on track? Feeling really bad at the minute, really want to give it another go, but just can't.. Smiley sad

    I know just how you feel. having not set a date other than "sometime next year" i'm finding it very hard to get motivated. my next statement may upset you and thats not intended but if you're lacking motivation after doing so well so far, who is it you're loosing the weight for? your partner must love you as you are so dont put too much pressure on yourself. my advice would be to enjoy (but dont over indulge) over the xmas period and then start again in the new year when the hectic xmas period is over and all the temptations are out of the way.

    I lose about a stone with slimming world and then started up our own weightwatcher weigh in at my future mother in laws with her and my future sister in law.

    We put a fiver in a pot every monday and write our weight in a book. They can both see it so it acts as a motivator. PLUS at the end of it all we will have enough money for a nice spa break.

    I find the weightwatchers point system much better

    Keep fit and on diet is quite a hard thing. But you've lost 2 and a half stone!!! Don't give up and stick on, when you see the outcoming on your big day, you will feel worth it. I used to keep myself on diet and lost a few in 2 months. It was a hard time for me, I only ate apples and milk everyday. Now I am fine and always on diet when I need it.
