I'm Elisabeth, and I'm getting married on 23 July 2011, which will be my fiancé's 28th birthday. I figured getting married on his birthday was the best way to make sure he never forgets our anniversary!

Im going to newcastle arena wedding show 30/31st jan see if i can barter with companies have not booked anything else other than venue and church. I thought it might be too early to start dress shopping lol but local dress shop has a maggie open day for new collection and has good discounts on hehehe. Ive also heard that minimum waiting time for maggie in uk is at least 9 months ? so why not start now hahaha xx

Oh I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Maggie! I've seen the brochure of the new collection and they're stunning. I haven't chosen one because being Oct 2011 I think I'm gonna wait but I have picked a couple that I'm gonna keep in mind. I'm hoping there'll be another collection out this time next year when I'll be really dress shopping.

Ooh how exciting I so can't wait to start dress shopping too - I have also seen a few dresses I like in the La Sposa collection but resisting dress shopping until at least the summer holidays lol

Hi girlies.......

Well today ive tried on a few dresses no photos though as i was not allowed to take any until i order my dress?. I have tried 5 maggie sottero dresses today and am sooo pleased i have started my search early!!!!!!!. I loved a few of the dresses and now i am totally thrown lol the dresses i had my eye on and loved were just not nice when i had them on not that the dresses were not nice just not me and not what i expected. I tried on a few dresses i would NEVER have choosen myself but down to the shop girls reccomendations for me i tried them anyways.... and guess what i loved them not my usual style but stunning!!!.

Only problem now is i loved them and dont belive im looking at big dresses. so watch out girls as what looks nice on internet models looks way different on us real girls and some of the dresses that look crap on internet are stunners on us real girls.

Ambrosia is really really nice its just not for me. Material is stunning and is lovely to feel and touch it lies nice on you but for me the panel (corset bit) is too long and i didnt like it being so long. the dress without the corset is heaven and stunning loved it just cant get away with it. Then again im always riding horses and therefore have quite broad shoulders and it made me look broader but i would definatly reccomend you to go try it on maybe it will be ur dream dress. Never mind its now one less for to think about lol and is off my dream dress list xx

Could you take me off please - have had to postpone wedding to 2012 cos of some bad news we had over Christmas - luckily we hadn't booked much, just church and reception venue and they have allowed us to swap our date for 25th August 2012 instead!

(Was down for 18th June 2011 btw)

I'm new too...can i be added for 7 july 2011 please!? I have booked the church so far and thats it! I'm off to book the reception venue on sunday and have a friend for photography so that doesnt really need booking. It all feels so long away still!

I had the same amount of time as you when I first got engaged and now I am at the year mark almost! It has flown by and in the last 6 months I have done loads and I am so glad I did because I still have loads to do!

I suppose my advice is that its never too early to start!
