I was completely the same 7 months ago when I got engaged and then it died off because I was busy with Christmas but its back again now thinking about things, dreaming and talking about it all time!!

think people are getting bored ha! Its hard though too not think about it! Ours is booked for 31st May 14. Anyway congratulations and welcome! This site becomes addictive but you know no one will get bored hearing about it on here x x

I think we are all the same, my OH kept getting annoyed at me cos I kept sharing too much info with everyone so I'm learning to keep things to myself, it's not always easy! Have you been to see any venues yet?

Thank you both! It's nice to know that there is somewhere I can escape and talk about all things wedding! We live in Essex and have seen 8 venues now. We are seeing out top two this weekend so I am hoping to book it then. It will then all start to feel very real!

Welcome ? and congratulations, what venue have you picked? i live in chester but OH family is from sudbury therefore having a wedding there. looked at a few venues online in essex, also visited Leez priory in Chelmsford. was intrested to know what your thoughts are for venues in the area ?

I was exactly the same at the early stages just wanted to talk about it and nothing else! (altho still do with my mum), what are your 2 top venues could you flash us? we love a good flash !..

I think i first started with a scrap book and cut out things in wedding magazines that i liked theme's colours etc.. also attend wedding fairs you can meet some great local suppliers and also get some good idea's too!

Thanks everyone. I hope we find somewhere soon too. I think we have narrowed it down to Prested Hall and Woodhall Manor. We have been to see Gosfield Hall, which is a partner of Leez Priory, but it wasn't for us really. I am also going to view Boreham House this weekend, just to keep my options open. Where abouts in Sudbury are you getting married?

We havent picked a venue yet, seen both prested hall and woodhall manor online and are both beautiful. Gosforth place didnt seem for us either but have some good deals. its hard settling on one place i love them all ? x

li can't believe how similar our stories are, I got engaged on Christmas Eve & we're looking at 1st Aug 2014 too as OH is a teacher! Maybe we can keep in touch & help one another with our wedding planning?! Xx

I live and breathe my wedding 24 hours a day. It does get stressful and as you get closer little things will test you. At the minute for me its a few guests not seeing eye to eye and saying they wont come to the day. Enjoy every minute of your planning. Its a great escape to get lost in th romance of it all. I only have 123 days to go x
