New haircut - brush/ product/ stying advice please!

Darla, 7 June, 2009 at 09:59 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 1

Morning all, I had a hair restyle on Thursday, going from years of having dead straight one length long hair, to having it shaped with some layers starting at jaw length but still quite long. I was a bit of a risk as I went to a new salon for an appointment and they fitted me in a hour later so I didn't have time to change my mind! When she styled it she used a large round brush to create waves/ flicks at the bottom which I loved. she used about 4 brushes and I didnt really take in how she did it. I can dry it staight but i am back at work tomorrow and would love to go in looking a bit different but dont know where to start.

Any help and ideas where I can buy stuff today would be great.

Thank you x

I have an old style "Rachel" cut and use a large round open long bristled brush to dry my hair with then a large dense short bristled paddle brush to straighten/style it. I got mine from Boots, think they're Vidal Sassoon or Revlon. About £8-10 each.
