New here & thought I'd share my progress

Marylou-lou, 13 October, 2010 at 18:30 Posted on Planning 0 6

Hi, I'm recently engaged on 2nd October. My OH proposed to me whilst we were away in the caravan for the weekend (the last nice sunny one we had here up North) He took me for a walk to lighthouse and the upshot is he proposed in Latin! Awww. Lovely white gold and aquamarine ring, he chose it (slightly too big) but hey! It's being made smaller as we speak.

In this short time we have been so excited about planning stuff and have loads of ideas. This forum has been great for loads of tips and ideas - So thanks! So here's my preparations so far! Hmm I've been planning this in the background <cunning idea> Hence why it looks like I've done loads.

Dress:

Augusta Jones - Kenzie

Venue - private residence

Bus from register office:

Well that's about all I have confirmed at the minute but will keep you posted with the updates.

That's funny - I'm in Scotland so you're down south as far as I'm concerned!

    1. Well, I've just booked my photographer and he is great and very within budget (£570). He is shooting all in black and white and getting some photos from film (experimenting). I will have him for 4 hours from after the registry office to our venue on the vintage bus and some pictures for afternoon tea - Then I'll send him packing! I get a small hardback book of 20 images and obviously the DVD.

Is anyone else having exclusively B&W shots?
