**NEW HITCHED SIXPENCE LIST**

OK we need a new list - the old thread was getting a bit long - and I can't edit the original list. It's simple - you can 'borrow' a lucky sixpence for your wedding. It will be forwarded to you by a Hitcher in time for your big day, and you must PROMISE to forward it to the next bride - details will...

OK we need a new list - the old thread was getting a bit long - and I can't edit the original list.

It's simple - you can 'borrow' a lucky sixpence for your wedding. It will be forwarded to you by a Hitcher in time for your big day, and you must PROMISE to forward it to the next bride - details will be sent to you by the co-ordinator.

We've lost a 4 coins already (BAD HITCHERS!) but I have added some more to the pool, there are now a dozen out there, so we can cope with date twins and busy weekends.

Any more takers?

    I think I put my name down ages ago but was waiting until the list was up and running again to make sure....I'm an 8th September 2012 bride!

    I am trying to sort it - Jude has been in touch today and will be re-sending the sixpences (she sent the others a while back, but I think they got lost in the "system" somewhere). Obviously these sixpences won't have the history of the others, but we'll just have to give them some history ladies!

    Hi,

    I had a sixpence from Jude before my wedding in December and I sent it to a recent bride who contacted me on Facebook after seeing my earlier question of here about whom to send it to so hope she enjoyed it (it had been to about 3 brides before me, I think!). It's a lovely gesture. I loved mine!

    Your OH (I am assuming that's him in your avatar pic! LOL) looks incredibly familiar and I could have sworn I used to work with him a few years ago but your location threw me as I am from Leeds and it was in Leeds that I worked with this guy who was the absolute spitting image of your OH! His name was Mike. It's not the same guy, is it? It's been bugging me for ages - he used to be in my team! LOL

    Hi VP, this is strange! yep thats my OH but his name is Gareth not Mike. His Dad lives in Leeds though and he did work down there for a bit about 8-9yrs ago! i might have to question him about previous personas now! ha ha x

    LOL Bless don't get wrong idea - it's not him then! We all have a double somewhere! The guy I recall from work was definitely called Michael (Mike). We worked in a bank HQ in Leeds then. xxxx ?
