New Level Crossing Safety Advert

It's a bit unrealistic - she wouldn't just tiptoe under the barrier and go "OMG there's a train!", wouldn't she hear it coming from quite a way away? I suppose she might have been wearing earphones, though.

I thought the previous one was harder-hitting, when you saw bunnies hopping across the devastation* from a crash.

* not quite the word I wanted, but I can't think of the right one.

I understand where you're coming from with the unrealistic aspect but just made me really jump!

We've just had new automatic gates installed on one of the level crossings in the area so I hope people take heed of the advert.

That's kind of the point though, isn't it? If you're not paying attention, a high-speed train could be on top of you before you knew much about it.

Maybe it is something of an exaggeration, but I don't think you can overstate how dangerous mucking about on railway lines can be.

Just seen it on YouTube. Could be she wasn't concentrating because she wanted to get home quickly so wasn't listening out, train could have come around a bend so maybe the noise didn't reach her.

My H and I saw this the other day and he commented on how they can "sneak up" on you. He was working near a railway line last week and didn't notice the trains until they were pretty near.
