New Neighbours.

It might be nice to introduce yourselves. Can you happen to be in the line of sight at some point? Rather than make a special trip?

I really don't want to make a special trip, i thought might come across as being nosey/forced. Catching sight of them i think would be best, its just that our doors are at opposite sides of the house.

I've never actually knocked on a door to meet the neighbours, but when I first moved in with H he didn't know any neighbours, despite living here a few years. That Christmas I sent cards to all the neighbours. Now we know the names of most of them, and talk to some in the street and over garden fences.

We moved in 2 years ago on about 6mths after us a young couple with a wee boy moved in enxt door, we share the same main path so we nipped by to offer them help carrying stuff etc..........weve barely spoken to them since the rude so and sos, the kid, 5yrs old and DOG speak to us more then they do!!!

I'd pop across and say hello

When we moved here, our neighbours just popped their heads over the fence and said hi and also came round to let us know when bin day was etc. I really appreciated it.

I would pop round. They're probably debating doing the same. If it was me, I'd find it really welcoming.
