Firstly, where is the list?

I live in not so sunny Scotland, just booked our wedding for 24th April 2010! I just found the site and joined up.

This is the next 700 list. if you keep changing the number after 'whichpage' you will find yours.

I'll find the 2010 list and bring it to the top of the threads, then if you just post on that thread with your wedding date you will get added to the list of 2010 weddings.

you will soon become addicted - i have only been engaged for 6 weeks and i am totally sucked in!

when you register, you add in your wedding date, and in theory your name should be added straight away to the next 700 (though for some reason it *still* hasn't registered me - boo!)

Hi Chids and Vicki, thanks for the welcome message! I've been a member for a day and Im getting obsessed with this site! It really makes you want to just plan and book everything now!

It's never too early to plan or book. I have a folder at home with sections for everything to do with the wedding, and everytime I see something in a magazine, I cut it out and put it in. If I see something on the net I print it off and stick it in. I also have booked my reception venue and photographer, found a lady at work who can make my cake and have started looking at dresses!

I keep thinking that Its not until 2010 that I shouldn't try to do things now, but after joining up, I think Im totally wrong!

We have our venue booked but thats all. I was thinking about having a look at dresses, but should I wait until next year?

This is the first time I have looked that far down the list. Loads of 2010 brides who aren't on dumblespuds list. Cant believe how many 2011/2012 brides there are about.

Vicki, im not getting this! I've checked the list via the link above and I can see as far as pg 14 which takes me to Feb 2010, how can I see later dates than that!?

In the actual web page address bar (where it says https://www.hitched.co.uk etc) that where you need to change the number, after where it says whichpage= and then load that page.

I'm a sad-married person (6mths on Fri!) who still comes on here every day - it IS addictive, a lot of fun but also one of the most supportive groups of people you could ever NOT meet! (as in you'll likely never meet any of us in the flesh!) ...

2010 - hey, thats only 2 years away .... that'll be gone in a FLASH believe me...!

I would say don't look at dresses until next year but then I got mine 2 years in advance so can't say much! There is are a few people on here that have changed their minds after choosing. I'm another one from rainy Scotland.
