Still dont understand why Carol's hair doesn't seem to be growing but Hershal now has a ponytail and Carl looks like a girl!

As soon as we saw the water barrel I said "noooooo he'll infect the water"

did he touch the water in the barrel though or just turn the shower on? I assume he was ill when he went into the prison and the illness killed him. must have been a bad illness though, not just a cold!

hmm good point- but the pig died too and they showed Rick drinking a couple times out of barrel near the pig so not sure on that.

And his headphones at the beginning!!! where are all the batteries coming from!

Was obviously their first trip to that store!

I became even more of a Norman Reedus fan when he said his zombie survival kit would just be his cat, chocolate and a bottle of JD, 'because that's what I live off already'.

I assumed Rick's reluctance was due to

a) him still being a bit crazy

and b) him attempting to show Carl that killing isn't always the answer after him gunning down the kid at the end of S3.

A much better episode than the rubbish S3 finale!

Love TWD - just watched the first ep of new series last night. Definitely think they needed some new characters and a reason to leave the prison, assuming the sickness will cause that to happen before the end of this series. I do have memory failure though - what did happen in the last ep of S3? Did we see Andrea die?! ?

Yeah she shot herself before she turned. You don't see her do it but you hear the gunshot from outside the room. (Milton turned and bit her cause she could get her perfectly manicured feet to pick up the pliers in time for escape!)

Loved the start of S4. I was glad the speccy kid didn't make it to a second episode (obviously his zombie self will). The scenes in the supermarket were the best, I love it when it's about the Zombie's rather than the people iyswim? When it all became about the Governor et al, I started to get a bit bored.

I know what you mean Panj! Also loved the supermarket! the suspense of the zombies, the collapsing roof, the traped alcholic!

Then just when you thouht they were all going to get out ok...

Oh did anyone else get confused when they first saw Hershall knelt down in the garden! I actually said, "where has that leg come from?!"

This will sound bad (especially as I have kids), but I want Carl to be "next". He annoys me SO much, has done from the beginning.

The whole walkers through the roof annoyed me too. How did the helicopter stay up there so long, on such a weak roof, that allowed walkers to fall through?? Did I miss something important when I went to the loo? Was it held up by something else? (should have gone back, and watched again)

H was asking me if I thought the pig would turn. I don't think so. What about animals they snared, they didn't turn, did they? I didn't clock how they were snared... really should pay more attention...

H got annoyed by one of the girls, who was naming the walkers, because they are still people... He said "if I was there, i'd have killed her by now, annoying little bint"...

Also, the effects don't seem to be as good this season...

I thought this!!! When they were killing them through the fence, it was really obvious which ones weren't "real".

I think we will be stuck with Carl for quite some time annoyingly. Why wad he so pissed off with Carol for teaching the others about knives etc? Little brat wants to be the only murdering child on the block!

I thought they alcoholic was from the army but not sure about the medic bit.

I don't think that the gap between season this time wasn't long in show time and they seem to have got a lot done at the prison.

Someone did say how long it had been that Micheone had been looking for the goernor, it was something like 4/6 months!

they have got a hell of a lot dont but its not tlike they have anything else to do with their time!

Yeah, don't think Carl will be going anywhere, damn shame though. Glad new characters have come in, some of the old ones are grating. Apart from Daryl... he can stay forever.

Ahhh I thought it was less, last time we had Laurie all pregnant to judge by so I thought it was less as whatsherface Glens Mrs was still unsure if she was pregnant or not and had no bump!

Laurie seemed to be preggers for aaaagggeeesss!!

I had forgotten anything to do with her possibly being up duffed. thought it ould have been a bit soon to have another pregnancy/baby story line!
