Me I'm afraid. 4.5 pounds on which for me isn't bad at all. Although I did only have 4 days off the diet over Christmas so it's

pretty good going! Back on low GI diet as of today. It was working a treat before Christmas so lets hope it does so again. I go

back to work at the beginnin of Feb following 7 months of maternity leave and I really wanted to be back at my pre pregnancy

weight but that's not gonna happen now (10 pounds in 4 weeks is unrealistic - right?!)

Best of luck to anyone that's back on the diet wagon today.

Me!!!! I don't know how much weight I've put on as I don;t own a set of scales, but clothes are slightly tighter than they were so the low GI is the way I'm going today.

    It's do-able with a lot of effort, I don't think it's unrealistic.

Me! <waves vigorously in an effort to tone arm>

I have a LOT to lose and have started with a vengance this morning with my annual trip to the gym. Had breakfast too instead of tripping to the canteen for something lardy. And have even brought a healthy lunch with me. Yay for me.

Me - I have to lose a stone and a half. I did manage to lose 5 stone, but unfortunately I have managed to put on a stone and a half. Sadly I suffered my miscarriage on Christmas Eve and haven't been eating too good since then, I have had quite a few takeaways etc. But me and H are determined that we are going to lose the weight and cut down on junk/comfort food.

    Count me in!

Since my wedding in August i've put on 1 stone and 1 pound! I lost two stone for the wedding and it's not going back on, i can't afford any more new clothes.

I have until June 27th to loose the weight i've put back on and i've started today! So that's 26 weeks to go.

I should be able to manage it, it's less than 1 pound a week.

Yep, count me in too. Due to flu, shoulder injury, travelling and a dash of general laziness, I haven't been to the gym since early December, so I'm back there this week. I'm not sure how much I've put on over Christmas (I don't do scales), but I'm guessing at around seven pounds, which I'm hoping to drop in the next two to three weeks with a kickstart Atkins, no booze and three to four times a week in the gym.

That's seriously impressive, I am in awe ?

I started SW last week and put on 3lb. Yay me. Purely down to new years eve and day. I am being thankful that I at least made an effort for the remainder of the week.

I have probably slightly over-egged the pudding, I am talking about my lightest weight first thing in the morning two weeks ago and then my weight last night, fully clothed after a full roast and pudding and tea so it's more likely 10lb ish but I've been known to put on 7lb on a weeks holiday.

I am back on WW today, I lost a stone before Christmas and put 5lbs back on which isn't the end of the world but it took alot to lose it first time round !! My mate has passed me the number of her friend who is a personal trainer and charges £10 an hour so once I am back in the swing of things I will give him a call too. My health is starting to be affected by my weight so 2009 is the year for me to shift at least half of it.

I have 6 stone to lose, wish me luck !

Me too. Although not because of Christmas (well, maybe a little bit).

Started eating like a horse when I got pregnant as it was the only way to stave off the constant nausea and then comfort ate for England when I miscarried. One stone since Nov 11th. Have already lost 3lbs though as I started the diet on Dec 29th (but had NYE off).

    Good luck to everyone.
