Hi all, I'm new to all of this. Just booked my wedding and realised I might need to start getting organised, it's 14th April next year and I'm moving abroad to live in 3 weeks, so I pretty much need to organise everything before I go. Where do I start?? x

    Sorry, pressed post too soon...

We are getting married 28th April next year and only booked it last month. Most important is getting ceremony/reception venue booked and deciding what you are doing about meals (i.e sit down meal/buffet etc). Bridemsaids/ushers, rings, your dress, caterer, flowers, DJ, cars, invites. Then smaller parts - decorations, favours, pressies for wedding party etc. Good luck!

We've got venues booked and sorted out meals and evening buffet, I've got my dress and photographer booked. I guess we need to do save the dates, invitations, band, cars and flowers. My chief bridesmaid is away on holiday and will only be back for 5 days before I move abroad so we'll need to do that quick! My head hurts already.

Hello and welcome to hitched ?

The next supplier to book is your photographer.

Give me a shout if you need any help, and I am used to working with couples from abroad.
