Welcome!!! I'm pretty new as well - joined a couple of weeks ago so it's nice to see other newbies here. Congratulations!!! My first tip would be get a fully costed budget together and be realistic about what you're going to have to spend and what's most important to you - our budget has increased quite a lot since the very beginning as we've realised we've had to pay more for the things that our important to us (like having a Saturday summer wedding, having a full sit down meal and a fair amount of guests). But we're being very strict about what we're spending where and saying no to things that are fit in the 'would be nice category'. It's easy for a budget to spiral so it's good to stay on top of it and keep costs together!

Hello and welcome! My advice is ^^ this and also stay away from wedding mags for a while! I got overwhelmed! Now I'm basically planned (the big bits, loads of fiddle little details to go) I can just about handle them!

    Hi & Welcome!

Tip wise- Prioritise the important things to you- is it your venue/food, photos, dress, honeymoon? The list is endless!

We put together some rough guest numbers first, then looked at what we had saved and how much each month we would put towards 'The Weddng Fund' looked at what the total would be by the time we were looking to book for and worked backwards from that, hope that makes sense!!
