I have beeen browsing hitched for the past few months and thought it was about time I started making more use of the forums - you all seem very friendly and helpful!
I got engaged in July this year and have set the date for the wedding of May 19th 2012 as we didn't want a long engagement. Our anniversary is the 15th May so wanted to get it as close to that as possible. We have booked most of the major things (I think!) - Church, reception venue, photographer and videographer, wedding transport etc and my dress is ordered. Am trying to make a start on making the invitations as I'm guessing these will need to be sent out soonish.
Our reception venue is a country house that doesn't have a bar and you have to supply the catering etc so also trying to make decisions on that (which is ending up being a lot more expensive that we had budgetted for!).
Can't believe that there is only 6 months to go, I know that this is going to fly by and it'll be here before I know it - which scares me a bit when I think of all the things that are left to organise!
Anyway - just wanted to say hello and introduce myself really!
