Hi Ladies
Have been lurking around for the last few days, trying to learn the hitched etiquette, so hopefully I will do ok.
I’ll introduce myself, and fill you in on my plans so far.
I get married Aug 14th 2010, and have loads sorted and booked!
Only big things left to sort out really are the flowers and decide on the table/ room decs.
We decided on a dark red/ burgundy theme.
Booked the Church in Nov 07, so have had a long time to plan - problem is I’ve bored everyone I know about weddings! They have a glazed look come over them when I mention it!
Soon after, I booked the reception venue and transport (having a horse & carriage – my childhood dream!). Booked the photographer and videographer earlier this year.
Also booked our Toastmaster - who, it turned out (after he was booked) knows my dad!!
Have found a dress! Once I order it I will start to think about bridesmaids – got 2 adults, 4 girls (4, 5, 7,8) oh, and 1 boy (5)
We have save the date magnets ready to go out as soon as the post situation gets sorted out.
Designed & mocked up the invitations
Booked the DJ over the weekend
So just the bits and pieces to sort now.
I live & get married in Medway towns, so anyone in Kent/ south east wanting to recommend suppliers/ wanting to know who we’ve chosen, do say hi.... (I was at the wedding fair @ Kent Showground yesterday – anyone else?!)
