Hello, I'm very much a lurker as I'm not smart/clever/quick enough to contribute much.

I'm going through a tough time as my H and I have just split up. I'm stuck in Surrey just now whilst I work my notice then going home to Scotland with my tail between my legs.

Okay, I've never introduced myself. I'm Fliss (durr, really?!?), in my late 20s and live in Leeds. I'm an academic, but am actually a bit fick at times - I thought the Battle of Trafalgar was fought in Trafalgar Square (using snipers from behind the statues); and until I went to Prague a couple of years ago, I thought that pigeons did not live anywhere else in the entire world apart from the UK. I like hair dye and drinking, the effects of which may account for my fickness. I have an OH who is a medical student, although refuses to specialise in Botox for my later-in-life needs, much to my consternation!

Hello! I'm very much a lurker but try to post now and then although its difficult in work as the boss sits directly behind me. We've finally got connected to the internet at home though and so I should be able to post a lot more. Unless my OH starts making fun as we're obviously all weird for being on an internet forum!

I must hold up my hand and say Im a lurker too, I try to post but often feel I have nothing extra to add to threads.

Also Im not very confident with spelling and Mr FB gets fed up with me asking him to proof read my posts?

FB if you are worried about spelling there is a spell check function (its a tick with abc) although I havent used it so dont know if it works, failing that you could write in word first and spell check. I know some people can be a bit funny about spelling and grammer, but I just do my best, and try to learn from the mistakes that are pointed out. At the end of the day its not really a crime so try not to worry

I am from Surrey originally, now living in Hayling Island with my Better half. I am rather sarcastic and sometimes my sense of humour offends people, but that is just me! I really dont mean to offend, I am just honest I have posted on OT occassionally over the last 6 months, but in general I am petrified to post for fear of being eaten alive by the scarey OT people!

I'm in Leeds too (there seems to be lots of us!) and have been married for 2.5 years.

I have unhealthy obsessions with Daniel Craig and 50 Cent. I also like to dye may hair although it is now an necessity rather than a choice!!

Can I just jump in and say hello as well , another lurker and bit ot WPer, who is bit afraid to say too much but hopefully will try harder from now on. My lurking has educated me in many things though - better dinners, new books, gorgeous shoes that i can only drool over due to dodgy feet . I am also fond of drinking but only just getting into the hair dyeing and towel folding !!!

Hello, I'm still here - lurker extraordinaire these days. Gone are the days when I could spend the whole day on here racking up the post count and talking rubbish (and occasionally being useful)

I will try harder, honest, but doubt i'll be able to contribute much in the daytime - new role, and its all gone completely insane; I didn't have time for lunch today, let alone sitting hitching!

I am Kaz, live in South east Hampshire and work in IT. I am a slave to the hair dye and like nothing better than a dirty burger after a hard day at work.

I try to contribute more now rather than asking lots of stuff but my toad in the hole is perfick from you lot and your advice (very happy H!).

I also lurk in BT, not planning trying yet so don't want to ask lots of stupid questions over there.

I am Nicola. I am a redhead (who woulda thought) and therefore distrust hair dye (green, anyone?), I am not in my twenties (more's the pity) and I am not from Leeds (although I have been there a few times.) However, one thing makes up for my lacking in those areas- I like drinking. A lot.

I am another who mostly lurks even though i have been on Hitched since 2004. I lurk mostly during the day if there is no one around at work but I was told off for being on the internet too much ? so I have to be even more sneaky and 'lurkier' than before! I wouldn't mind but I work in IT, I thought it was de rigeur that I spent all day on the internet!

Hi all, I lurk more than I post really, like the others have said I don't really post much as someone's always already said what I'm thinking (and in a much more eloquent way!)

I've lurked over on BT and learnt some scary things too! (I already have a BT favourites folder of things people have recommended/mentioned and we're not even TTC yet!)

I'm the hitcher formally known as spacekitten and I log on every day to see what's going on but rarely post these days. Mostly due to having nothing intelligent to contribute, but also lack of time.

Don't think many would remember me anyway! And I still think that a low post count equates to how you're received on here...I was on nearly 5,000 before I lost my login! Just when I could have been nearer to being a serious hitcher as well ☹️?
