Hi ya. Have an appointment with a florist tomorrow and have no idea what to expect or prices etc. I know its gonna cost alot as I have an excessive number of bridesmaids but am not sure what kind of costs to expect. It would help me alot if you could let me know how much you are paying for each of the following:

  • Brides bouquet
  • Bridesmaids bouquet
  • button holes
  • centrepieces

If you could add flashes too that would be even better.

Thanks

Mine is more than i expected to pay, and even now seems excessive especially since i'm very much a 'but they're only flowers for one day!!' person, and it's the floral centerpieces that's pushing the cost but the design is very much to my liking. There's lot of roses included too which doesn't help the cost :s

    My bouquet - £85

    BM bouquet - £35 each

    Buttonhole - £5 each

    Magnet corsage - £22 each

Top table long display - £125

Centerpieces - £40 each (plus £5 stand hire)

I wasn't set on any centerpieces, nothing seemed right when i was looking into it, just knew what i didn't want before had florist appointment. But then when saw her she was in the process of a wedding piece with cake stands and it seemed so right! I love baking and adorrreee cake too much, so seemed a massive tick for me, subtle and simple. Similar to the below

I'm not yet sure how much my flowers are going to end up costing - it depends on what the florist and I design together, as I want very bespoke centerpieces. My advice if you want to keep the cost down would be to see what flowers are in season in the month you get married. I was originally going to have a bouquet of seasonal, spring flowers, but now that I want blue dendrobium orchids instead I know that the cost is going to increase quite substantially. However, my BMs are having bouquets of gypsophilia, which is dead cheap and should cost me less than £20 per bouquet.

I've bought silk flowers, not real. I've got:

    • bride's bouquet
    • bridesmaid's bouquet
    • 2 x mothers' corsages
    • 2 x buttonholes
    • 1 x double buttonhole (for groom)
    • centrepieces for 12 tables

    I've paid £103.61 total.

Hi, I'm having real flowers, mostly peonies and roses plus some others I can't remember the names of! My bouquet is £95, bridesmaid bouquets are £45 each, buttonholes are £5 each, corsages are £9.50 each. The flowers for my table centres are £80 per table. I love flowers so I'm having lots of them! Prices also depend on the flowers you chose and time of year your getting married (flowers are more expensive around valentines day, Mother's Day, etc)

You guys are definitely getting some bargins on your fake flowers. If my HtB didn't have a real thing with fakes I would probably head in that direction. But as I need real ones I went to the florist today and we discussed what I wanted, and I am going back in two weeks time to look at some different options. One costing around 800 total and one 1000 total. Both will include my bouquet, 9 bridesmaid bouquets, 3 flower girl wands, 9 centerpieces, a top table decoration, 10 button holes 3 corsages for mums and step mum. I can then see if I like the cheaper one enough to go for it. Thank you all for your help I felt much better iinformed because of your replies.
