The news tonight was a laugh a minute for NI brides. They even had me on whinging about wrapit.

I don't *think* anyone was affected by the dress shop though.

Were you on the news? ?

How awful though, that's all you'd need. Hopefully everyone has insurance!

I was. I look like cack though, I was channelling the 'distressed bride' look.

I'm not sure our insurance covers it. Mr P is taking care of that before I actually tear out all my hair. Its so crap.

Oh your wrap it stuff? Rubbish! We had debenhams and while they were a bit rubbish they could have been worse.

Fingers crossed it all gets sorted out and you can be stress free ?

It is unfortunate that this has to happen - and the poor bride is left to foot the bill just because people think oh the bridal industry would be a lovely job - they don;t think of what could happen - it is the hardest buisness to be in at the minute.

I do hope no one is effected by either the bridal closure or wrapit - on afew other forums there are brides who have been effected - but there wedddings are not until next yr so at least they have time to look for a new dress even if they have lost thier moeny - it is the poor brides who are getting married in afew weeks time that you really have to feel sorry for-especailly those that had thier dresses in teh shop. My advise is always collect ur dress once it comes in - at least if it is at home u have piece of mind.

Hi Glitzy, haven't seen you about in ages!

I picked my dress up about 6 months early just to be sure - at least it was covered by my home insurance if anything hppened to it then!
