It will be interesting to see whether the Church of England and Catholic Church adopt it - although I can't imagine anyone wanting to get married in a church when it's dark outside!

I can see why it could be cool. There's a venue around here which is open to the public until 6pm, it would be nice to be able to get married in private after that.

I can definitely see the benefits - locations that would otherwise be inaccesible, awesome night photography.

It may also help those on a budget that cannot afford to entertain all day... ?

Sunset weddings are very popular in Florida I can see the appeal an early evening wedding followed by dinner

    Hi All

There is an amazing church in Kidderminster that is lit up so beautifully in the evening - I could imagion how great the photography would look - also inside you could have the whole place lit up by candle light I think this:

I can only think of two plus points, both of which have already been mentioned - cool photography and saving money.

    Not for me.

I may be wrong but i'm pretty sure you can't be married after 6pm in the UK?? SO unless that changes i can't see it catching on over here!

I think it would be quite romantic to be able to have the twinkly lights and lots of candles everywhere x
