Nintendo DS new game

Gingey Wife, 6 November, 2008 at 13:57 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 13

I’ve finished Picross, can’t get any more play out of 42 game thingy and am bored with Brain Training.

Can’t decide whether to buy Spore. I’ve also seen Puzzler Collection, does anyone have that? Or does anyone have any other recommendations? I don’t want a game that I feel I have to play everyday (like Animal Crossing)

Thanks

I bought picpic in an attempt to recreate the picross high. it sort of tickled the itch, rather than really scratching it. Colour Cross is coming out later this month

    Also try PuzzleQuest.

    Brilliant thinks.

Can't find colour cross on Amazon.com (trying to limit packing requirements) so it's probably called something else over there. Will have to investigate.

How exciting! Tell me what games are on it? I like sudoku and that puzzle where you have words (or numbers) that you have to fit into a grid, which I think are both on it. However i'm not a fan of crosswords.

    Sell it to me!

Well there are crosswords on it but you never have to do them!!

The suduko is excellent as is the fitword. They have lots of different ways to play e.g. one is a time trial, there is another where you answer one question in each puzzle and then you have to get further and further and the questions get harder - that is really addictive.

I found its a great game to dip in and out of - you can play it for 10 minutes or 2 hours! You can also play it in two player mode against another DS.

He has several other titles out this month tooo.....?

The way you play suduko is fab - you can put in numbers you think it might be and don't have to imput your answer until the end. You can look at it on either screen and the graphics are good enough for you not to bother with the stylus if you don't want.

There are so many combinations of puzzle its unbelievable - I've been testing it for bugs for weeks and I'm still finding new puzzles

Well the biggie is Football Director for the DS - huge launch, adverts on major television, tv appearances.

He also does some childrens ones - which is the Clever Kids series - so far he has done Dino Land, Pony Club, Pirates erm..

There is also a music composer one coming out but that isn't finished yet

No my H is a programmer for his own company. He was employed via the title holders of the games to do the coding and use the software he has developed.

I got a free copy of Football Director last night - its very shiny and exciting and H's company and right bang on the cover!!
