No radiator - would it put you off (dull....!)

Librarian Girl, 2 September, 2008 at 09:56 Posted on Off Topic Posts 0 4

We're thinking of getting rid of the radiator in the spare room; it's on a wall we could really do with for shelves, and has never been turned on in the whole time we've lived in the house. The boiler and airing cupboard are in the same room (pretty tiny) so it never gets cold - whenever the heating's on elsewhere in the house, the boiler's hot in that room.

Question is, would you think it really weird to have one room in a house without a radiator, even if it was warm anyway?

We don't have radiators at all in our house so no, I doubt I'd even notice.

Wouldn't bother me. We've removed two that were in our kitchen, why you need two rads in a kitchen I do not know.

Wouldn't bother me either. We don't have a radiator in the bathroom, the one that was in there before we refurbed it was never turned on and there wasn't a good place to put one in with the new bathroom.

I'd get rid of it - and tbh I probably wouldn't even notice there wasn't one there if i was viewing the house to buy.

Oh, and I've send you a PM thingy
