Not long left but can't get back into planning!,

mummymrs2b, 31 January, 2013 at 11:15 Posted on Planning 0 2

I have a list of things still to do, only 72 days left to go!! I just cannot get into it at all. I'm rubbish at decisions so always see something then dither about ordering it!

We had some bad news that came as a shock that my nan that I am very close to has lung cancer and have to wait another 2 weeks to see where it is and what they can do. People are dropping out of the hen do, but owe me money for it but just ignoring me instead, my eldest has suffered a severe case of chickenpox and still ill a week later. Ive never had them so hoping i dont catch them with 3 weeks to go u til my hen do. My youngest has a bad cough & conjunctivitis so sleep has been very little.

Sorry its turned into a bit of a rant, but I need to get back into wedding planning!!!! Help!

Oh your poor nan- that is so sad x

You probably have more organised than you realise- get a list done and then see what 'big' things are left and try to get them boxed off.

Hope your boys get better soon too.

Yes can you ask MOH or any BM's to help with any last bits? The shock of your nan's illness will probably throw you off course, i lost my nan last July and i couldnt be bothered to plan anything for months afterwards. maybe your friends can help in your hour of need, or if you can afford it try a wedding coordinator, i'm having Marie from 'Isabella Weddings' coordinate my day for me but these planners offer assistance in the run up to the day and if you have last minute things that need to be sorted that you find yourself struggling to have time/motivation to do they'll do it for and they dont cost as much as you may expect, it might worth dropping someone like Marie (very lovely and understanding) a line and explainig ur situation and they'll be able to advise

    best of luck x
