Not really sure what to put here

Aw, Chicken, that's pants news. I'm so sorry - anyone who has had a pet and had say goodbye to it knows exactly how you feel. Have a BIG [inadequate] hug from me .....

Really sorry for you Chicken, Buster sounded like a great pal. T

he pain never really goes away but it does get easier. It's only been a couple of months since Mitzy died quite suddenly and I still half expect her to scratch at the living room door or be at my heels while I do the housework. I'll confess I couldn't bare to hoover for weeks for the thought that she wouldn't be there to mount an attack against the hoover.

Don't be afraid to grieve, maybe even have a proper farewell for the wee fella. Totally inadequate I know but have a ?.

    R.I.P Buster.

Oh Chicken, I'm sorry about Buster. Losing a pet is so hard because you never feel you've been able to make them understand what they meant to you. This is the hardest bit- it gets easier, I promise. ?

Oh Chicken, I'm so very sorry - how sad. Poor old boy.

I'm generally a bit lacking in sentiment about animals, but I actually welled when I read your post. I'd like to offer you a big bosom-y hug, though it seems from what others have said that I would have to force it on you. In the circs, I'm prepared to give it a go.

    RIP Buster.

Chicken, I just wanted to say that I am so sorry for your loss. As for when it will stop hurting, you are grieving for a lost member of your family and it takes as long as it takes. I lost my wonderful boy over a year ago and I still have my moments, it's not easy and I think unless you've had a dog yourself you can't begin to understand the bond you can have with an animal.

Be kind to yourself and allow yourself to grieve ?

Oh Chook. You loved him totally and unconditionally didn't you... there's no way to replace that. Big big hugs to you mate - you will grieve because he was your little mate and you'll miss him dreadfully - don't let anybody trivialise that. xxx

    Oh Chicken - I can't tell you how sorry I am. ☹️

I hope wherever the B-Man is now, there are lots of fields to chase about in, balls to run after, and comfortable baskets to sleep in until you see him again.

Oh, Chiken, I am so sorry to read this. You poor thing - how utterly devastating.

We currently have a grey muzzled staffie - 12 years old - in our training class. He's called Charlie and he comes to class because his owners have just adopted another staffie from Battersea and she needs classes so he comes too. He looks very like your profile picture of the B-man and I thought instantly of him the first time Charlie came to class.

Buster was a true gentleman and I know how much you'll miss him.

Late to this but I just wanted to say that I am so, so sorry for your loss. I can't even begin to imagine what it must be like but I do know how much you can love a pet, having my own furry boys.

I hope you are feeling less dazed today and I am sure that each day it will get easier ?
